How to put on a silicone bra? How to choose the size and clean it?

Jak zakładać silikonowy biustonosz? Jak dobrać rozmiar i go czyścić?

Many women, when choosing an outfit for an important evening, focus mainly on the dress, handbag, or shoes. However, it is worth remembering that the key to a successful look is also well-chosen underwear. Thanks to it, we can not only feel beautiful and alluring but also gain confidence that the chosen dress will fit well and no part of the underwear will create unsightly lines. However, there are outfits that require somewhat more unusual underwear – we mean tops with cut-out backs or evening dresses with irregular cuts. In such cases, it is worth investing in a silicone bra for special tasks.

Silicone bra – which size to choose?

When opting for a silicone bra, many women worry that they will not be able to choose the right size. This is understandable – in this case, we are dealing with a model without the standard clasp and straps. The right size is therefore crucial to ensure the bra stays in place all night long.

Initially, silicone bras were mainly dedicated to women with somewhat smaller busts – this was due to the limited availability of bras with larger cups. However, nowadays even women who usually wear size D or E can afford to buy a self-supporting bra. When choosing the right size, we primarily follow our cup size. We select it only by the letter, as the self-supporting bra does not have markings related to the band size. Fortunately, most brands available on the market offer special charts that allow you to choose the perfect cup size based on your classic bra size.

Regarding the model itself, we can usually choose between a fully silicone bra and a fabric version only covered with silicone on the inside. For women who want good bust gathering, we recommend models with special front lacing – this way, we can slightly lift the breasts. Many stores also offer self-supporting bras with built-in push-up, which further enhances the bust.

How to put on a silicone bra?

If we have managed to choose the right size, we can proceed to putting on the bra. Many women trying this type of underwear for the first time wonder how to stick on a silicone bra so that it stays in place. First of all, it is important to remember that the silicone bra should be put on fully cleansed, dry skin. This means we must avoid any kind of lotions or oils, as they can reduce the adhesive strength of the glue.

After properly preparing the skin, we can proceed to unpacking the bra. Here, it is worth remembering a few useful tricks. First, start by removing the special protective film. Remember not to throw it away – it will be useful for protecting the bra after removal. Next, loosen the special lacing located between the cups. Put the bra on one breast first – then, with the other hand, gather the bust so that it fits well into the cup, and then gently press the bra onto the skin. Repeat the same with the other side. Finally, hold both cups again to ensure they stick well to the skin, and you can tighten the lacing – of course, if your chosen model has it.

How to clean a silicone bra?

Now that we know how to put on a silicone bra, it is also worth taking a moment to properly care for its storage. Among many women, there is a belief that silicone bras are for one-time use only. Although this is definitely not a bra model that we can use for many years, with proper use, we can wear it several times. First of all, the silicone bra should be washed only by hand. Use water and mild soap for this. During cleaning, pay special attention not to damage its structure with nails or rings. After washing, rinse the bra and let it dry. Avoid rubbing it with a towel or drying it on a radiator – this can damage the glue, causing the bra not to stick to the body. Finally, you can protect the inside of the bra with the film it was originally packed in.
